Description: An upright semi-evergreen perennial with mid-green long,narrow leaves with sturdy stems. Beautiful bell shaped flowers of bright purple outside with a white throat, flowering for up to five months, June to October. These penstemons are slug resistant and hardy.

Characteristics:  Ultimate height of 0.7m and ultimate width of 0.5m

Position: Full sun/Part shade. South/East/West

Soil Moisture: Well drained soil.

Soil Type:  Chalk/Loam/Sand

 

Soil PH: Acid/Alkaline/Neutral

Care Guide:  In cold areas protect over winter with a dry mulch.  Dead head after flowering to encourage repeat flowering.
