Description: A neat dwarf evergreen shrub, Deep foliage with dark purple tinges to the leaves which along with the leaf bud and stems flush with more intense  colour in winter. Producing 2in violet flowers in summer and autumn, can often be found flowering late into the winter months. 

 Characteristics: Ultimate height of 0.5m and ultimate width of 0.5m.

 Position: Full sun/Partial shade.  East/South/West

Soil Moisture: Moist, but well-drained.

Soil Type: Chalk/Clay/Loam/Sand

Soil PH: Neutral/Alkaline
