Description: A low growing carpeting evergreen shrub with brown branchlets which are have a purple tinge on new growth. Small round glaucous grey leaves, short spikes of pearly white flowers appear in May. 

Characteristics: Ultimate height of 0.3 m and ultimate width of 1.0 m.

Position: Full sun/Partial shade. East/South/West

Soil Moisture: Moist, but well-drained

Soil Type: Chalk/Clay/Loam/Sand

Soil PH: Neutral/Alkaline
