Alternative Names: Japanese spirea 'Firelight'

Description: A deciduous shrub that produces elliptical bright yellow foliage which turns red and green with age. In early summer clusters of tiny florets of mauve flowers appear which make a lovely contrast with the leaves.

Characteristics: Ultimate height of 1.5m and ultimate width of 1.5m.

Position: Full sun.  East/South/West

Soil Moisture: Moist,but well-drained

Soil Type: Chalk/Loam/Sand

Soil PH: Acid/Neutral/Alkaline
